It’s rare that I take the time to write a letter of praise to a company I have worked with lately, but Twin City Fireplace deserves some praise with our recent fireplace renovation project. I spent the time to visit 3 fireplace showrooms in the area, including Twin City Fireplace. I quickly realized that the expertise and experience of your company far exceeds the others I visited. I simply walked into all three showrooms unannounced, explained my project and went from there. Beginning with my first visit to your Edina showroom, where I was greeted by you, my experience has been nothing but pleasant. Your suggestions on design, communications throughout the project and “no hard sale” approach was refreshing and appreciated. We decided on the Mendota Greenbriar fireplace and the same brick as you had displayed in Edina showroom. All the folks at Twin City Fireplace were very helpful designing the layout of the brick, mantel and hearth. Tony and Brody showed up promptly at 8:00 AM on fireplace installation day and did an excellent job with removal of old fireplace and surround and installation of our new Greenbriar. They were very friendly and obviously very knowledgeable. Our home was left as clean as when they arrived, which was very impressive and appreciated. As planned, Jesse and Chad arrived a couple weeks later, once again, promptly at 8:00 AM, to do the masonry work and install our beautiful reclaimed timber mantel. WOW…these guys are artists. Karen and I are amazed what Jesse did with this brick. He constantly asked for our input and approval. After a long day for these guys, we ended up with a true piece of art. We love the brickwork and mantel. Together with the Greenbriar fireplace, we are amazed at our new fireplace and surround. And, as with the installers, Jesse and Chad left our home and outside work area very clean considering what was going on with cutting brick and lots of mortar being used on our project. We loved working with Twin City Fireplace and Stone on our new home in Ramsey, MN. They installed the exterior stone and a Mendota FV41 gas fireplace and stone inside. Chris and his team were very easy to work with and extremely professional. Twin City Fireplace & Stone is easily the best fireplace and stone company in the Twin Cities! We look forward to working with them again when we finish our basement.
